Boot Stretching

Welcome to Our Images Page

The highest quality reproduction 70's style boots available anywhere in this galaxy or the next, but improved for our armored application.

Our newly designed boot features a taller upper and slightly more rounded toe. The elastic height is perfect, not too high, not too low.

The neck/opening of the boot is slightly smaller than after market boots of the same basic style, but the opening is a tiny bit smaller so as not interfere with the armor.
We tried a smaller opening but discovered that it became exceptionally difficult to insert your foot and slide the boot on without over-stressing the boot.
Based on our multiple prototypes, this opening proved the most successful.

We hope to produce additional sizes on future runs, adding 1/2 half sizes.

TK Boot Model #501

In the above photo, you can see how the boots are taller, tucking nicely into the calf armor. In keeping with standard boot/shoe sizing,
the larger the boot, the larger the opening. Most boots will be a tiny bit larger than actual opening of the lower calf armor, but this is to allow the foot to
more easily be inserted. When wearing the calf armor, it will simply be placed over the boot and the leather will easily move, allowing the armor to slide over.
If you have an extremely high quality set of high gloss ABS armor, you can trim away the slightly radius'd edge on the bottom
of the calf piece. This will help.
Installing a small piece of white rubber trim will help to prevent the armor from scratching and damaging the boots.
